Join the #doodlewithusinaugust challenge!
Once again I’m excited to announce our Instagram challenge for the month of August. It’s the #doodlewithusinaugust challenge created by me and Christina from @christina77star! The theme for August’s Prompts is ”Camping”.

As we did last month, all the doodles are part of one big comprehensive picture. Imagine each day to be one piece of the puzzle. So, at the end of the month you will have one big doodle picture! 🙂 If you decide to follow this way, you’ll have to create a table with 5×6 + 1 boxes and you shouldn’t add the days on the top. You can also make the boxes and dates in pencil, if you don’t want the lines to obscure the end result. It’s totally up to you. If you don’t feel like drawing in the lines yourself, we’ve created a printable that you can just stick inside your bullet journal with the prompts on the side so you’re ready to go! To download the printable click here. If you want to join, but you prefer to draw the doodles in the traditional way, that’s absolutely fine as well. The important thing is to have fun!
All you have to do is to draw something according to the day’s prompt, take a photo of it, and share it with us. Don’t forget to add the hashtag #doodlewithusinaugust. 31 days of doodles that will hopefully get you to be creative and have fun! We’re excited to see what you share!
The link is just taking me to the Dropbox login page. Am I doing something wrong?! Love the challenge! Since I am not an artist I love trying to “copy” your pictures off Instagram so please don’t stop posting!
Thank you for bringing that to my attention! I fixed the link and it should work now. Please let me know if you have issues with it.
I’m giving this adorable challenge a first try and I’m really excited! I set up the page and up to now I’m really pleased how my drawings came out.
But now a (silly?) question came to my mind: Not being a native English speaker, I’d love to know what do you mean with the word ‘canteen’?
Leo dictionary isn’t quite clear about it and it could be the bottle to take water with you OR the supplies to prepare food, which would fit to the pots…
Could you answer that, is it up to me or is one translation sheer nonsense? 🙂
Best wishes,
Hennie.
I’m so excited you’re joining us! A canteen would refer to a small water bottle that is typically brought while camping. Hope that clarifies the definition for you! 🙂
Great, THANK YOU! Now I know what to do. 😀
When will the September challenge be posted? Can’t wait to give it a try!
The September challenge will be posted on Monday the 29th so stay tuned!!
